This is a very nice dug white clay pipe bowl bearing an eagle and Masonic symbols. The bowl is large size, approximately 2" tall. On one side it pictures a compass, stars and a radiating sun.   On the other side it bears a very crude eagle and shield. The eagle is somewhat light but still legible.  No stem remains and there is a small chip on the top front of the bowl.  Overall a nice example of a 19th century Masonic pipe bowl.    This pipe bowl is circa 1870.
