1910 Pittsburgh Commandery No. 1

Lady Portrait Plate #4

This beautiful hand-painted plate was made to commemorate the 31st Knight Templar Triennial in Chicago in 1910.  This plate has a wonderful Robin egg blue border trimmed in gold with a lovely red haired lady in the center wearing a blue and white dress revealing lots of cleavage!  This portrait plate is rather risqué for the year 1910!   It measures 8 inches in diameter and has the Knowles-Taylor-Knowles of East Liverpool, Ohio makers mark on the reverse.

A special "Thanks" to Linda Haybeck of Nana's Antiques and Collectibles who found this plate in its pristine condition going through her 84 year old aunts estate.  Her father "Charles H. Wolf was a Freemason.
