Early
Hand-painted Limoges
Porcelain
Snuff/Pill Box
This is a very rare and
authentic hand-painted Limoges porcelain snuff or pill box from the late
1800's. It has brass hinges and working tools clasp and is signed "Limoges
France, Peint A La Main." It depicts a Masonic Temple with its
winding staircase and the porch pillars of Boaz and Jachin. The Square
and Compasses is painted both over the door of the Temple and on the floor
entering the same. The Phoenixmasonry Museum Gift Shop is proud to carry
a reproduction line of these Limoges boxes which can be seen by (clicking
