Liverpool Pitcher

Here
is an early 18th century Masonic Staffordshire Liverpool Pitcher. This Masonic
Pitcher was made as a presentation piece for Daniel Merrill – whose name
appears under the spout. It has been repaired as can be seen by
the various cracks. It is 10 inches high and 7 ½ inches across the top
of the pitcher. Under the All-Seeing Eye it says: “The World is in Pain. Our
Secret to gain but will let them Wonder to Gaze on for they ne er can divine
the WORD nor the SIGN of a Free and Accepted Mason”.
