Masonic Majolica Ceramic Plate
from
the Holy Land
This
is a beautifully hand painted plate (has holes in back for hanging), with Masonic
Square & Compasses and Star inside. Lovely holly leaf and berry
border. Great Majolica
colors. The back has crazing, but the front is very smooth.
Measures 8 inches in diameter. Has some writing in back, faded and hard to
read. I can make out one word "Israel". I don't know the age
of this plate, but it is likely to be from the 1920s or 30s.
