Masonic Die Cut Hand Fan / Dance Program
This
colorful Ladies Hand Fan doubles as a Dance Program for the Grand Masonic
Promenade Concert and Ball celebrating St. John's Day held on Wednesday, June
24, 1868. It lists the program of songs to be played by Dodworth's
Military Band and it even doubles as a Dance Card where the Ladies can write
down those that they have already danced with or "want" to dance
with. It is a wonderful example of the planning that went into making
these events successful. This curator would have given his all to be in
attendance.
