kt Gold Masonic Wax Seal - FOB
This
is one of the most extraordinary three dimensional Masonic Wax Seals this
curator has ever seen! It is English made with hallmarks that tell us it
was made by "TAB" in 9 carat gold (.375). It stands about 1
inch high and the diameter is about 5/8 of an inch. The seal on one side
and then again on the bottom appears to have the keystone letters "K,S,H,T,W,S,S,T"
in the usual chapter penny circle which certainly gives it a Royal Arch
background. It also used to have an eyelet ring at the apex of the
Compasses which means that it was once worn around the neck on a chain.
