Reverse Painted Picture Frame
Here is an early 20th century 12
½" x 10 ½" grain painted steel oval picture frame. The exceptional
glass mat is decorated with mother of pearl and foil in a Shrine motif and is
reverse painted. The same decoration surrounds the opening for the photo which
measures about 4 ½" x 3 ½".
