Early
Shrine Tiger Claw Jewel
with
hanging Scottish Rite Emblem
This
beautiful Shrine of North America Tiger Claw Jewel was custom made by a
jeweler and it still has its original box! It is also un-engraved.
It was common at the time to replace the Star with either the Scottish Rite or
Knight Templar logos. This piece also has a carved Tiger Eye stone as
the Pharoah's face! It was worn by those Shriners who were affluent
enough to afford them. The cost in 1920 to have this jewel made was
$140-170. Multiply that by 10 to get today's price in current day
dollars.
