Stereo View Card of Knight Templar Parade

in New York City - June 2, 1875

Stereo View Cards like the one above were looked at through an optical instrument called a stereoscope in which two pictures of an object at slightly different points of view are merged into a single three-dimensional image.  

A special "Thanks" to Brother Jerry Stotler for submitting the above pictures of his cabinet card and tin type photography collection.  Jerry trades fraternal memorabilia on eBay under the User I.D. "jstot".
