Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite - 33rd Degree, Southern Jurisdiction USA Supreme Council Jewel Collection
Every year the A.A.S.R. 33rd Degree, Southern Jurisdiction holds a gathering called a Supreme Council which started in 1801 and is usually held in Washington, D.C. at the House of the Temple. These Supreme Councils meet to choose 33rd Degree members from among those who have previously received the rank of Knight Commander Court of Honor. A special jewel was designed to commemorate a few of these annual events. Here are some we've managed to come across in our travels. The jewel above was produced in 1921. Some of these jewels are still attached to the cards with the manufacturers names on them.
