Organic FOBs
and Jewelry
Much of what you see here was
once alive! Tiger claws, human hair, eagle talons.
Moose and elk teeth, seed pearls, wood, and mother of pearl.
The sterling mounted pheasant foot (at the top) bears a Scottish
hallmark and is likely a kilt pin. Today, much of this jewelry would be
illegal to produce as eagles and tigers are both protected species. It
is also socially unacceptable to kill an animal to wear its body parts, i.e.
furs, feathers, etc. I would also have to agree... How would you
feel if you were killed so that your head could be shrunk and worn on a chain
around somebody's neck or as a watch FOB? Think about it!!!
