Here is a very collectible Victorian sterling
silver mug/cup by Gorham Co.
It has the Square and
Compasses with the inscription "Presented to A. M. Bush by Union Lodge No. 7 F.
A. M. New Bedford, Mass" Bro.
Andrew M. Bush, Sr., was WM of Union No. 4 in 1866 and 1867 (the 6th WM of the
lodge), as well as Most Worshipful Grand Master of the Prince Hall Grand Lodge
of Massachusetts in 1881, 1882, and 1885. In 1897
PGM Andrew M. Bush was nominated and received the Commission as Representative
to the Grand Lodge of Hamburg, Germany to the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand
Lodge of Massachusetts.
