This wonderful bronze medallion was minted to commemorate the American Bicentennial (1776 - 1976) by the Grand Master of Masons in Pennsylvania Right Worshipful John L. McCain.  The front pictures General George Washington at Valley Forge on bended knee praying for strength for his continental army.   It is a theme demonstrating the power of prayer and the impact that religion played in the founding of this great nation.  It measures 3 inches in diameter and heavy enough to be suitable as a good paperweight.
