George Washington Masonic National Memorial

 200th Anniversary Statue

   

   

  

  This beautiful pewter statue of George Washington depicts him wearing his Watson-Cassoul Masonic Apron and standing in the East governing Alexandria Lodge No. 22.  It was commissioned by the George Washington Masonic National Memorial (GWMNM) to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of his death in 1999.  It was sculpted by artist Lawrence J. Nowlan Jr. and 5,000 were cast.  This statue is number 282.  It stands approximately 7 3/4 inches including the 1 inch base.   It is a miniature reproduction of the 17 ft. tall bronze statue of Washington that stands in the entrance to the GWMNM as seen below.
