This beautiful plate is part of a series made by Pittsburgh Commandery No. 1 Knights Templar for the 28th Triennial Conclave in Louisville, Kentucky on August 27 - 29, 1901.  It was made by Knowles, Taylor & Knowles Co. of East Liverpool, Ohio and measures 8 inches in diameter.

A Special "Thanks" to Jim and Kendra Straw for donating this wonderful plate to our museum.  Their grandfathers' George Ellsworth Straw and George Albert Tranter were both Freemasons and acquired the plate seen above and others during their lifetime!  Thank you Jim and Kendra!
