This is a very special Knight Templar sterling spoon from the great state of Kentucky.  What makes it so special is the picture of the Knight Templar in high relief on the handle wearing one of  their triangular aprons with the skull and crossbones on it.  The Templars of Kentucky are the only Commandries to wear this regalia.  The spoon was made to commemorate the 28th Triennial Conclave held on August 27 - 29, 1901 in Louisville, Ky.  It measures 4 1/2" long and is signed on the back 925 sterling silver.
