This is a very special Royal Court Jester. There
were only 100 of these made worldwide and they are now retired. They were produced
by Kaiser Porcelain of Germany which was established in 1872 and one of the finest
porcelain companies in the world! This figurine is remarkable in its detail and is
hand-painted in the Royal Court Jester's colors of purple and gold. He is
quite possibly reciting the
"Fool's Prayer" or "Jester's Creed". There is an emblem on the bottom which reads: "Royal
Court Jester,.... Court #......" This was used to fill in a member's name and court
number. This piece is approximately 8 inches tall and is in mint condition.
