Early Minneapolis Shriner's Hospital Photo
I rescued this old photo at a yard sale where another fellow wanted the frame (not a Masonic one) and I wanted the picture. It was presented from one Brother to another as seen by the label on the backing. What makes this photo so special are the little boys who were living at the Hospital at the time all dressed up in just their shoes and underwear which was not uncommon for that period in time. It is an 8 x 10 and the bricks and bushes were colored in by hand. The first Shriners' Hospital for Crippled Children opened in 1922, in Shreveport, Louisiana so I would date this photo to the late 1920's or early 30's.
