Masons and Shriners are known for their innovative ideas and here is one of them!  This early key tag was one of the first designs for identifying and mailing lost keys back to their owners.  A reward was also paid to the finder.   It was promoted at the World Peace Ceremony on April 29th, 1919.  It measures 1 1/2 inches long by 7/8 inches wide.

A special "Thanks" again to Mrs. Joy Cook of St. Petersburg, Florida for donating this wonderful artifact to our museum.  Thanks Joy!
