This handmade plate or tip tray was made in 1980 by
the Wendell August Forge Co. of Grove City, PA. It measures 4 1/2 inches
by 4 1/2 inches and depicts the Masonic Square and Compasses with the letter
"G".

is America's oldest and largest forge, producing hand-wrought ornamental
metalware and elegant giftware in aluminum and other metals since 1923. The
company was founded in Brockway, Pennsylvania by Wendell McMinn
August, who, at age 38, was active in the coal industry.
