The "Three Great Lights"

Masonic Paperweight

Pictured above is a reproduction of the L. Ron Aronson bronze paperweight. It was created by MARBLECast® Products, Inc. depicting "The Three Great Lights" in Freemasonry.   Upon this marble paperweight appears the most important symbolism in Freemasonry... the "Three Great Lights"...  The Three Great Lights in Masonry are the Holy Bible, Square and Compasses.  The Holy Bible is dedicated to the service of God, because it is the inestimable gift of God to man, and the rule and guide to his faith and practice; the Square to the Worshipful Master because it is the proper Masonic emblem of his office; and the Compasses to the Craft, because by a due attention to their use, we are taught to circumscribe our desires, and keep our passions within due bounds towards all mankind, especially a Brother Mason.   There is also another almost hidden message in this paperweight... the Bible is opened to Ecclesiastes, Chapter 12, which is the prayer the Lodge Chaplain recites during the circumambulation in the Third Degree.  It is a Biblical verse that reminds us of our mortality and that we all face old age and ill health and this final reminder... "For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."

Made of marble material, this beautifully sculpted reproduction measures 3 3/4 inches wide by 3 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches deep.  It is  available now for $10.00 plus $5.00 shipping/handling (within the 48 contiguous United States).
