Masonic Jump Hour Clock
This is the
Lancet shaped clock with a picture of George Washington on the front, It dates
again to circa 1920-30. This clock is Swiss but most likely done for the
American market. Its what’s known as a direct read clock, watches and
clocks like this were what some might call the first digital clocks as you read
the digits to tell the time, very art deco. Rather than have traditional
hands they have rotating disks printed on paper with the numbers upon them,
(direct read). The disk for the minutes is a constantly rotating disk, the
hours is also a rotating disk bit this works in a different manner,, it’s known
as a jump hour because the hour disk only flips over by 1 hour on the strike of
the hour. This is a highly desirable clock to collectors in its own right, being
Masonic example takes it to another level entirely. Full working order.
Silver Travel Cased Masonic Pocket Watch

it’s a larger pocket watch at circa 15cm Diameter. Hand painted Masonic
dial. Full working order.

early example. Full working order

high x 48cm wide This clock is a substantial clock and was most
likely a one off presentation piece to a Masonic hall,, it would be nice to know
