When this Tiger Claw fob was listed on a popular online auction recently the seller called it a watch fob... but upon closer inspection it looks like an early key ring.  The Shrine Temples were the first to start making key tags, that should your keys be lost and found by an honest person, they could return them to the Temple named on the tag and a number on the tag would identify the owner.   Here is a link to a similar Key Tag made and distributed by Kosair Temple in Louisville, Ky. (click here).
